You,

Students in the Zemi,

Are Tomorrow's Future!

Tomorrow's World

depends on you...

starting with the great nation of Japan...

circling the globe...

the United States of America...

and returning to you in Japan.

If for no other reason,

you must study your English well,

to prepare yourself for the coming century...

Some of you will become teachers like the honorable Professor Shinjo...

Others of you may become members of other great professions, and you will want to do your part to make this great world of ours a better place for all of the world's mosaic--her people.

For whatever small part Professor Shinjo and I play in your lives, you and you alone remain in control and responsible for what happens in the world tomorrow.

May you be like the wind that carries the sail on the windsock above...

May you flourish like the beautiful treasured bonsai...

May you be like the fan--

fragile enough to remember the people of the world...

strong enough to do your part in helping all in this world.

May you always remember that what you take from the world, you must return in some way...
